• 영문초록 : Adolescent who left school, although they are under academic age, they do not receive educational social investment in the reason that they are outside of school. This means that they give up their own education rights they have to receive. Therefore there is an urgent need for learning rights especially for teenage single mothers among adolescent outside of school and support measures to help them stay socially and healthy. In several countries like US, UK, Japan, Taiwan, etc. various support efforts for teenage single mothers are have been made to closing the gap between knowledge and information from the education welfare point of view, develop national human resources, and guarantee an active educational opportunity. Therefore, in this study, the purpose of the research is by looking at the current situation of guarantee of education rights and education support in major countries and then comparing and analyzing them to draw up implications for the development of policies on supporting teenage single mothers in Korea. As a result, our country needs to guarantee of education rights for teenage single mothers in the future, and for support education, utilization plans of online courses, diversity in the areas of education contents, and support methods for life skills need to be materialized.

학교를 떠난 학교 밖 청소년들은 학령기임에도 불구하고 학교 밖에 있다는 이유만으로 사회적인 교육 투자 혜택을 받고 있지 못한다. 이는 청소년이 누려야 할 교육권을 스스로 포기하게 되는 것이다. 따라서 학교 밖 청소년 중에서도 10대 미혼모의 학습권과 이들이 사회적으로 건강하게 자립할 수 있도록 지원 대책이 시급히 마련되어야 할 필요성이 있다. 미국, 영국, 일본, 대만 등 주요 국가에서는 교육복지의 관점에서 지식과 정보의 격차 해소, 국가 인적자원 개발, 적극적인 교육기회 보장을 위해 10대 미혼모에 대한 다양한 지원의 노력을 하고 있다. 그러므로 이 연구에서는 주요국의 10대 미혼모를 위한 학습권 보장 및 교육지원 현황을 살펴보고, 이들을 비교 분석하여 우리나라 10대 미혼모 지원에 대한 정책 개발을 위한 시사점을 도출하는 것을 연구의 목적으로 삼았다. 연구 결과 우리나라에서도 향후 10대 미혼모의 학습권을 보장할 필요가 있으며, 교육지원을 위하여서는 온라인 강좌 활용 방안, 교육내용 영역의 다양성, 생활 기술 지원 방법 등에 대한 구상이 구체화될 필요가 있음을 제안하였다.
